Ukraine realizes most of the projects with funds received under the Kyoto Protocol this year.
The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych says about it at the Ukrainian-Japanese business forum in Tokyo.
Yanukovych says that Ukraine in 2011 will implement most projects on energy saving derived from the Japanese side in accordance to the Kyoto Protocol.
In this case, as reported by Interfax-Ukraine, the President notes that Ukraine is ready to present Japan that some projects in Ukraine have already successfully implemented. Yanukovych assures that their successful implementation is a priority for economic cooperation with Japan.
Moreover, Yanukovych notes that the implementation of projects under the Kyoto Protocol in Ukraine will increase the level of confidence to Ukraine, its renewal and securing her status as a reliable partner.
Also, the President notes that Ukraine is ready to provide Japanese companies with nearly full capacity to implement new technologies.
As you know, there is a case prosecuted against former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko for misuse of the money received under the Kyoto Protocol.
