The UIM Formula 1 H2O World Championship will be aired in 100 countries and is expected to see some 100,000 guests. The event will take place in Vyshgorod nearby Kyiv on July 30-31, Kyiv region governor Anatoliy Prysiazhniuk has said at a meeting dedicated to the championship.
The water area of the Kyiv reservoir, where the competition is to be staged, will be inspected by divers. Prysiazhniuk recalled that the event requires a depth of 3 meters.
He also said more than 200 hotel rooms have been already booked in Kyiv to house sportsmen.
