WBC world heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko is preparing for a fight against mandatory challenger Odlanier Solis of Cuba, which is to be held in Germany on March 19.
A training camp in the Alps has traditionally become a training place for the Ukrainian boxer. The champion’s working day begins early in the morning and includes two strength training exercises, swimming and running. Sunday is the only day-off for Vitali, UKRINFORM reported, with reference to LIGABusinessInform.
“I will face a very experienced, very difficult and talented opponent – young, aggressive and full of energy, a boxer who is striving to become a world champion. He is very dangerous. Solis is one of the best heavyweights. He is an Olympic champion and was a two-time world champion among amateurs. Odlanier is one of the most serious opponents for the whole of my professional career. I am 100% confident that I will win this fight. But I know how dangerous the Cuban is, therefore, I will not underestimate him,” Klitschko said.
