Vice Premier and Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov on January 25 is to make a presentation on the Euro 2012 European Football Championship in Brussels, the Mission of Ukraine to the European Union told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
In particular, Ukraine’s preparations for Euro 2012 are to be discussed at a meeting between Kolesnikov and Siim Kallas, the commissioner and European Commission vice president in charge of transport, while an interactive presentation is to be made in the European Parliament.
It is expected that at the meeting with Kallas, Kolesnikov will discuss the development of transport and infrastructure, the creation of a joint air space between Ukraine and the European Union, and access for Ukrainian companies to the transport services market under a future free trade zone.
Kolesnikov is to speak in the European Parliament at the conference entitled “Making Ukraine a technically updated, economically stable and socially reliable, stable partner of the EU.”
It is expected that Kolesnikov will also hold some meetings with European lawmakers.
