If you are going to be in Ukraine this fall, then you are going to want to participate in one of the many festivals held in the country. This is the season for some of the most interesting events that take place all over the country and it starts with the Jazz In Kyiv festival that runs October 18th and 19th in the city. There will be classes, afternoon and evening concerts and names such as Charlie Hunter and Al Jarreau performing for residents and guests alike. The jazz festival is sandwiched between two rock concerts: Nazareth will be playing on October 10 as part of the twenty year anniversary tour followed by Deep Purple on the 15th and Christina Aguilera on October 21.
For those guests who enjoy movies, the Molodist will start on October 18th. This is an annual international film festival that has been taking place since 1970 and it features movies by young directors, art-house hits, and retrospectives. There will competition nights from film students from all over the world and it all wraps up with the ‘Festival of Festivals’ that showcases the winners and nominees of other world-famous film festivals.
Ballet and theater buffs will enjoy the myriad of performances as well that will be launched during the fall season in Ukraine that include dancers and plays from all over the world as well as Ukrainian classics.
