The museum exists since 1983. There are different kinds of bread, history of cultivation of grains and development of tools of our ancestors presented in the museum. Bread is the main product of Ukrainian export, famous because of perfect Ukrainian soil. Not far from the museum there are modern and ancient (from the era of Yaroslav Mydriy) bakeries. Visitors can buy and try different kinds of bread. Exposition also includes blockade bread, space bread, bread that was made during the Holodomor in Ukraine. There are over 100 kinds of loafs of different forms and sizes from all over Ukraine and world. Also traditions of bakery of different nations are presented.
