The contract has been signed for the unification clash between IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KOs) and WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KOs), UKRINFORM reported, with reference to fightnews.com.
The fight will be held in Europe on June 25 or July 2.
As reported, Haye was expected to fight Wladimir Klitschko in June 2009, however, he refused to hold the fight due to an alleged spine injury. According to unofficial reports, Haye refused to enter the ring due to the financial problems of a British television company that broadcasts his fights.
