There will be festivities in the Ukrainian capital on Jan. 19 on the feast of Epiphany. This was reported in the press service of the Kyiv city state administration.
City-wide celebration will begin at 12:00 on Obolonska embankment near the Cathedral of the Holy Protection Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Prirechnaya St., 5a) and will continue at 14:00 at the Park of Culture and Rest “Gidropark”. After the official part there will be festivities in the places of celebration. Christian faith-based organizations will conduct the consecration of the water near water bodies in all areas of the capital.
