A traditional festival of Jewish culture has got underway in Chernihiv, north of Ukraine. It brings together creative teams of the Jewish community of Chernigov region and guests from other cities of Ukraine.
According to chief of the local department of culture Oleh Vasyuta, in addition to concerts, the festival’s program includes presentation of the book of the head of the regional Jewish community Semen Belman “Editor’s Column”, international scientific seminar “Jews of the Left-Bank Ukraine. History and Culture”, lecture “The Jewish theme in modern cinema,” with watching the film “Daddy”.
