On the 12 of January 2012 under the patronage of metropolitan Vishegoroskiy and Chernobilskiy Pavel will take place first Ukrainian Song Festival of Christmas kolyadki and shedrivki. It will take place in the Refectory Church of St. Uspenskaya Kievo-Pecherska Lavra. Program of the festival includes appearance of Kiev Ecclesiastical Academy Chorus, Kiev Institute of Music Female Chorus, Vocal Ensemble “Divo” and others. The festival begins at 17.00 and is free for all to visit.
