From 8 to 27 of November in Mironova Gallery will take place personal exhibition of Roman Zhuk, who is one of the founders of modern Ukrainian art of New wave. Three gigantic pictures from the ceiling to the floor in the style of Japanese manuscripts form the basis of the exposition which is devoted to the artificial capabilities of academic picture. In addition there are small graphic works which with the help of lines and light-and-shade reflect surrounding world and feelings of people. Roman Zhuk belongs to famous masters of modern art who was one of the founders of the Ukrainian modern art of New wave back in 1980’s. His works can be found in the collection of National Art Museum of Ukraine, international art-markets and exhibitions, exhibitions of Ukrainian modern art.
