Euro 2012 tickets to cost EUR 30-600

The cost of tickets for Euro 2012 matches in Ukraine and Poland will be from 30 to 600 euros, UEFA has said, predicting a rush of demand for tickets.

“The estimated cost of the tickets will be at least 30 euros and could reach 600 euros for the final matches,” UEFA Ticketing Manager Rainer Berak said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

UEFA hopes that about 75% of the total number of tickets sold will be those purchased by local fans in Poland and Ukraine.

The total number of tickets sold is expected at 1.4 million.

The UEFA representative said that the purchase of tickets would be possible only on the Web site, www.uefa.com, and that their sale would be conducted by bank transfer.

For the convenience of Ukrainian and Poles, the purchase can be made through a simple bank transfer, although organizers recommended that the payment be made by credit card.
