On the eve of Women’s Day on March 8, conductor Herman Makarenko and his orchestra will perform outstanding classical pieces dedicated to women, children, and love.
In its sixth year, the concert “Declaration of Love” includes aria from Puccini’s opera “Madame Butterfly,” “Clara’s Lullaby” by George Gershwin, “Gypsy Song” by Antonin Dvorak, and epochal “Ave Maria” by Bach, among others.
