From the 24 of September up to 3 of October on board of the boat “Princess of Dniper” will be held a festival of world animation “Krok-2011”. For the festival commission picked out 130 films out of 800 from 50 countries. In the competitive part will take part films of 37 countries. Many celebrities of world animation films will present their creations, namely Gil Alkabets (Germany), Bill Plimpton and John Dilworth (USA), Theodor Ushev (Canada), brothers Qwey (Poland) and others. Within the frames of the festival a few master-classes will also be held. Famous producer Max Howard (USA), creator of many Disney films, will speak on the topics of “Creation of effective scripts of full-length cartoons”, “World experience and co-production in making animation films”. Also jubilee displays devoted to the creative work of Roman Kachanov, who created world famous cartoons about Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena will take place.
