An interesting mix of music

On May 11, 2006 Myroslav Levytsky composer (piano) along with his brother Oleh Levytsky(saxophone) will be performing in Kyiv. The compositions of Levytsky are a mix of postromantancism, new age, jazz with a twist of ethnic Ukrainian mentality to the arrangement of the music.

Anyone who has seen him perform and heard his music will usually want to attend another performance. A friend I used to work with after attending his concert last year, told me that it was the first time in a long time that she had a chance to truly relax and enjoy the music.

Roman Hurko, a Canadian and composer of Ukrainian choral music told me that it had been a long time since he had heard anyone play saxophone like Oleh Levytsky.

The deal is as follows: Purchase a copy of Levytsky’s “Session in Banff” for a bargain basement price of 70 UAH and receive a ticket for two people for the concert on May 11, 2006.
