All inclusive system to be introduced at Crimean hotels

An all inclusive system will be introduced at Crimean hotels, however, this system in Crimea will be different from that in Egypt and Turkey, Crimean Resorts and Tourism Minister Oleksandr Liyev has said.

“We will offer healthy eating, different diets, local cuisine and our own products. The menu will necessarily include onion from Yalta or our seafood,” he said.

However, representatives of many hotels are skeptical that the all inclusive system will be profitable. In their opinion, in order to make the system profitable, it will be necessary to raise prices that are already high.

Nevertheless, some hotels have already begun to introduce the all inclusive system.

Crimean Deputy Resorts and Tourism Minister Mykola Marinov said earlier that in the 2011 tourist season, Crimean hotels and resorts are not planning to significantly increase the cost of their services, and added that the rise in prices could be possible only at the inflation rate of up to 5%.

He added that the price of tourist vouchers for Crimean hotels and resorts could be increased only through the introduction of new services.

The deputy minister also said that in the upcoming holiday season tourist flows to Crimea were expected to grow by 15% compared to last year, when Crimea was visited by 5.719 million tourists.
