You will find churches all over Ukraine and will sure want to take a picture with most of them. I’ll try to give you a hint on how they might look so that you could prepare your clothes in advance
1. White

White seems to be the most common color for a Ukrainian church. White churches might also have decorations of golden, yellow, blue, green and domes in gold or green. In Vydubytsky monastery in Kyiv you’ll find magnificent blue domes with golden stars. Nearly all the churches in Tshernigiv are white.
2. Yellow or beige

I’m in doubt if this one is more typical or the white. Anyway, yellow churches are very widespread, often contain white decoration elements and are almost always covered with golden domes. Famous yellows are Volodymyrsky Cathedral, St. Aleksander Cathedral in Kyiv, St.Jura in Lviv.
3. Brick

Churches made of not pargeted brown or red brick look most monumental, solid and ancient. For me these churches look like the Home of God most. I have no idea why they plastered St. Sophia Cathedral white. Pyatnytska Church in Tchernigiv is a cute small sample.
